About Alexandria Marcus, HLC, EPC
Certified Eating Psychology Coach

Alexandria runs a company called HEARTfood.  She works with individuals who struggle with emotional eating and endless diets that want to make peace with food, peace with their body, and truly love who they are, inside and out, on a daily basis.

Her clients would like to lose weight, chronically diet or restrict food, binge and compulsive eat, and have body image issues.  For years, Alexandria was stuck in the yo-yo dieting cycle, gaining and losing hundreds of pounds, until she discovered that deeper more sustainable answers lie within.  She invites her clients to learn how their body is sharing hidden messages through their excess weight and eating challenges and how to decode this inner wisdom.

She owns her own business called HEARTfood that includes a private practice in San Francisco that works directly coaching clients one-on-one both in person, over Skype and on the phone. She also leads popular "Beyond Weight Loss" classes around the Bay Area where she offers a non-diet approach of diving into issues around weight, food and body image in a safe, supportive community.

She’s a Certified Eating Psychology Coach focused on Mind-Body Nutrition and a CHEK Certified Holistic Lifestyle and Nutrition Coach Level 2.  She's studied and supported workshops of the with New York Times best-selling author Geneen Roth and appeared on The Oprah Show
